Questions

Who is BPTMate for?

Physician trainees in RACP Basic Physician Training (adult medicine), in any year - for learning through your rotations, preparing for the written exam and keeping up to date after it.

I’m not sitting the exam this year. Is it still useful?

Yes. Most of BPT is learning on the job: look up the cases you see, build your highlights and notes as you go, and keep up with practice changers. By exam year, much of the reading is already done.

Is it a question bank?

No - it is the revision reference you study from: structured notes, the facts past papers have tested, flashcards and the year’s new evidence. It sits well alongside a question bank.

How current is it?

Notes are written against current Australian and international guidelines with the help of AI, so cross-check anything you rely on. Practice changers covers the major journals over the last 12 months.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes. “Tour me” opens the real app with a few notes in every specialty unlocked - no account or card needed.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from your account. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes - search, notes and flashcards all work on mobile.

Your exam is 18 weeks away.

Spend them studying notes, instead of writing them.
